Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The Psychiatric PHP is designed as a stepping-stone from inpatient treatment. This particular drug rehab program provides patients with four hours of structured group therapy and education five days a week.

The PHP treatment program is designed to serve patients with a psychiatric diagnosis as well as those who have co-occurring disorders. Treatment is provided in an interdisciplinary manner and utilizes the group format.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The psychiatric IOP is also considered a stepping-stone from inpatient treatment and makes reintegration into the community easier for patients. This drug rehab program provides patients with four hours of structured group therapy and education three to four days per week. Fort Lauderdale Hospital holds these groups daily and allows patients to choose the schedule that is most convenient for them.

The IOP treatment program is designed to serve patients with a psychiatric diagnosis as well as those who have a co-occurring disorder. Treatment is provided in an interdisciplinary manner utilizing the group format.

Therapists and discharge planning staff are available to assist patients in accessing supportive housing within the community.
